Aaron and Michelle were introduced by a mutual friend. At the end of their first date, Aaron made Michelle listen to “First Date for the Last Time” by Tods Fristch. It was love at first sight, and at the end of the night Michelle knew he was the man she would marry.
When asked how they got engaged, Michelle replied, “Aaron said he was going to marry me, nothing more!”
The couple married at First Presbyterian Church in Pilot Mountain, and Michelle walked to the church from her home with her dad and her son, Charlie.
Their reception followed at the charming Vintage Rose Wedding Estate. Although they didn’t have a specific theme, they selected the colors of coral and green. Michelle’s son’s favorite color is green. She promised him he could wear green in her wedding, so the bridesmaids chose a color to wear that would go with it.
Their florals, created by Creative Designs Flowers & Gifts, were the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements that kept things simple, just like the bride wanted.
“Everything went as planned and was perfect! There were tons of friends and family that did a lot behind the scenes; our special day wouldn’t have happened without them! Adele, of Adele Lee Photography, knew exactly how to capture the most precious moments,” shared Michelle.
“Charlotte and Emily, of Vintage Rose Wedding Estate, went above and beyond to make sure we were very well taken care of. They even met us in the parking lot before the reception with drinks so we could take a few minutes to ourselves. There is nothing we would change about our wedding day!”
