Hannah & Zack
Zack and Hannah met while both attending NC State University, but it wasn't until after college when they were both finally single at the same time that they started dating. They went with a big group of friends to a rodeo and realized they had a deeper connection than just friendship. They shared a lunch date soon after that and have been together ever since.
While on her family's annual camping trip, Zack chose to hike to “Wolf Rock” (for NCSU Wolfpack) where he surprised Hannah with a marriage proposal. Hannah was so surprised that she kept interrupting his romantic speech. It finally sunk in when she looked over and saw her dad taking pictures. Her family brewed a special home-brewed beer for the engagement and they all cheered and celebrated this joyous occasion.
Hosted at Revolution Mill Events Center, Hannah and Zack planned for a romantic and fall inspired wedding.
Hannah loves the color sage, so it made sense to be surrounded by it on the wedding day. The couple also included other fresh and clean colors to balance everything out, including gold, navy and cream.
“I wanted candles, succulents, pumpkins and pinecones everywhere! With all of our favorite people surrounding us, I wanted everyone to feel comfortable - nothing too stuffy. One of my favorite parts was a hand carved white pumpkin with our joint monogram,” shared Hannah.
“We loved writing our own vows. We knew this was something we wanted to do, but that it would be hard to keep the secret from each other! We had Zack's brother, who was his best man, read both our vows beforehand to make sure we were on the same page.
“We think we had the best vendor team you could put together. Everyone worked together so well and made sure everything was perfect. We wish our wedding day could have lasted forever! We loved every single thing about it…it was so much fun!” Hannah concluded.
