Courtney & Andrew
Courtney first caught Andrew's eye when they attended middle school together and although they graduated high school together, their circles never crossed. It wasn't until twelve years later that the two connected on social media. There was a strong connection between them and they knew they were meant to be in each other's lives.
It was Christmas Eve and the couple spent it at Courtney's Aunt's house for an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” themed holiday party. After laughing at the different sweaters and watching the children open their presents, Andrew announced there was one more present to open and it was for Courtney. A ring and a proposal soon followed.
The couple married at Annie Merner Pfeiffer Chapel at Bennett College with an extravagant reception afterwards at the elegant Grandover Resort. They chose a winter themed wedding incorporating the colors of champagne and sangria, with a hint of red and eggplant.
Courtney described their wedding day as “surreal”! Although they were expecting a cloudy and cold day, to their surprise it was bright, warm, and sunny. And despite the fact that she and Andrew were both a little nervous from excitement, having their closest friends and family there to support them made their day even more special.
When asked about the most unique element of their wedding day, Courtney replied, “Seeing Andrew waiting for me at the altar with such pride and assurance. At that moment, I was reminded of God's grace and favor. There is nothing I would change about our wedding day. It was perfect!”
