 Triad Weddings Ad Specifications

TriadWeddings Magazine is created with Adobe InDesignCS2.
All ads must be submitted digitally.
  • A color or black & white proof must accompany digital file(s).
  • All images used must have a resolution of 300dpi, and must be CMYK.
  • All fonts must be embedded.
  • Full page, 2/3 page and 1/3 page vertical ads should have a minimum of .25 in. bleed, crop marks, and all text should be kept within .25 inches of trim.
  • Ads not meeting these criteria will be returned.
The following formats are acceptable for ads:
  • Adobe PDF (preferred): Created through Adobe InDesign CS and up or QuarkXPress.
    Specifically, a high rez pdf (PDF/X-1a), making sure that the compatibility settings on the General Tab are set to Acrobat 4.0 and the advanced tab has Transparency Flattener settings at high resolution to prevent transparency errors on the print side.
  • Photoshop CS and up: Saved as a flattened TIFF or JPG
  • Illustrator CS and up: All text should be converted to outlines, and file saved as .pdf
Not acceptable:
QuarkXPress native files, Microsoft Word files, Publisher files, Film

Publisher may bill for any work needed to bring materials up to specifications. Charges are based upon current market rates.
